Super busy! Got here 20 minutes after they opened on a Sunday morning and there was already a 20 minute wait. Definitely worth the 50 minute drive and 20 minute wait. Our vegetarian friend was pleased with the veggie options!

Had some business in Silver Spring and found Bobs in google maps. Super glad I did! Busy at lunch time so you may need to wait but food is served fresh and fast. Ordered as much as we could within reason, loved it all! The spicy dumplings were delicious and the kung pao is possibly the best I’ve ever had. Also, have to try the dim sum, we tried the pork. Definitely recommend stopping in for some great food!

I went here with my friend and two people he was showing around town. Getting dim sum is the perfect way to get to know others, but only if you’re all comfortable sharing food! All the dishes we ordered were very delicious. My favorites were the eggplant, green beans, and veggie steamed buns (I’m vegetarian). The veggie steamed buns were among some of the best vegetarian buns I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend this place! Very very delicious Chinese food.

This place is amazing! Absolutely loved everything we ordered: orange chicken, scallion pancakes (my favorite), an assortment of dumplings, and soup. Food came out fast. Portions are generous and we had plenty to take home. We will be back!

HEAVEN! Best chinese Chinese food in the DMV and DC. PERIOD. The soup dumplings are as good if not better than Din Tai Fung. The Salt and Pepper porkchops were crispy and full of flavor. Thr spicy beef soup broth and noodles are on another level. The fried rice is the best i've had on the east coast. The food was delicious! Service was speedy and friendly. There was a 30 min. wait on a Friday night, but WELL WORTH IT. Bring Cash!

My 2nd fave chinese restaurant around the area. I especially like the chicken dish that was spicy (forgot the name).

Best Chinese food on rockville pike. This is close to rockville town center. They have the best soup dumplings around! I come here just for them! The crispy beef is also delicious too. Next door they have good desert too. Not many people were there around 6 pm so that’s a good time to go. I definitely will go back. Remember this is a cash only restaurant so come prepared. They do have beer here as well.

Absolutely fantastic. The food, the service and did I mention the food? We ordered shanghai noodles, soup dumplings and Chang du chicken. The noodles had a great bite and lots of chicken and veggies mixed in. The dumplings had great flavor with a good amount of filing. The chicken was crispy and extra spicy. We were impressed by the large portions and glad to see how quick the food came out to our table. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself has limited decorations with an overall vibe of no nonsense. The food is well worth the trip! Highly recommend!

Are you craving the best soup dumplings in Maryland? Good prices? Then you HAVE to go to Bob's Shanghai 66. We got 3 items the beef noodles, soup dumplings and shu mai. The soup dumplings is what they are known for and of course they did not disappoint! They are well balanced in flavor, full of soup and good size. They are my favorite in the whole state. The beef noodles were spicy but so good! The meat was tender and the portion was perfect for 2 people but if you don't like spicy food then these will definitely be too spicy for you! Shu mai was great as well, nothing to write home about but still a very solid item in their menu. Make sure you get there with enough time to wait for a table because they are always busy! Service can be a bit slow but that's expected when they have a full house and only a few people to serve but overall it is a MUST visit spot!

So excited to get a table without waiting too long!! The service was superb and efficient like you'd expect from any Asian restaurants. Of course it comes with a hot pot of tea. Great start as we dive in for a dinner! Soup pork dumplings - very juicy and wonderful when goes with vinegar, soy sauce and minced ginger! A bit different than I've had around like the wrapping is a bit little thicker than usual but still great as it held everything inside without falling apart! Shrimp and pork shumai - not too bad, good tasting but it is a huge bite. Bigger than shumais I've used to. Nothings wrong with that as it's still good! Steamed donut with condensed milk - very good but not sweet. Typical Asian dessert where it is subtle good but even better with condensed milk on! I'd drizzled it all over on that steam donut. Dan Dan noodle - it is the dish of the champion! It's spicy but so delicious with all flavors bursting in your mouth along with ground beef, sliced cucumber and perfect al dente noodles combined! I'd order this again next time!!! String beans with garlic - excellent side dish of all time! It couldn't go wrong anytime and it was delicious. We would inhale all of it in a few minutes. It's not too spicy for me as Szechuan pepper brings some flavors out within this dish!
